Investee Eligibility

To become an ASVP Investee organization, nonprofits must meet basic guidelines established by the partnership, as follows:

• Programs will serve communities in the Central Texas region; preference will be given to projects in the greater Austin area.

• Applicants must be classified as 501(c)(3) public charities by the Internal Revenue Service. Organizations must be willing to submit audited financial statements.

• ASVP will consider grant investments for specific projects or programs, as well as general operating support.

• Grant investment requests will not be considered for the following purposes: auctions or fundraising events, debt reduction, endowment funds or capital campaigns, litigation or legal expenses, land acquisition, research, productions, or performances.

• ASVP will not consider grant investment requests from: individuals, organizations that discriminate, religious organizations for sectarian purposes, sports teams, and political or lobbying organizations.
