How to Get Involved as an ASVP Partner

The key strength of our model is the range and depth of our partners’ backgrounds. Partners representing a variety of industries and interests are involved in varying aspects of the organization. Partner involvement can include:

• Supporting a one-time activity.

• Acting as a Lead Partner, partnering directly with an Investee organization to identify critical needs and determine how ASVP can best address them.

• Serving as a committee chair or member of one of the five working committees supporting ASVP operations.

• Working directly with an Investee organization as adviser or consultant on a one-time or ongoing business-related project.

ASVP’s virtual organization is comprised of five core working committees:

• Grant Investment – Manages the grant investment process, including reviewing applications, completing due diligence, and recommending funding for potential Investee organizations.

• Volunteer Support – Works with partners, associate, and Investees to match the talents and interests of ASVP’s business professionals with the critical needs of its Investees.

• Partner Recruitment – Leads the ongoing effort to grow ASVP’s membership base and supports the membership at large to ensure maximum leverage of invested funds.

• Communications – Spearheads internal and external communications projects, including all marketing and media relations materials, member newsletters, and the Speakers Bureau.

• Database & Website management – Directs the technology-enabled operations of the ASVP organization, including updating content and partnering with other working committees to streamline information management.
